Monte Moir is a songwriter, singer, producer and one of the original members of the innovative R&B group The Time.

As a songwriter and producer, he has had a number of hits including Janet Jackson’s, “The Pleasure Principle” (from her Grammy nominated Control CD) and Alexander O’Neal’s, “If You Were Here Tonight.”

Monte recently completed a CD of his own called This Side of Paradise.
